"Lou recently sanded and refinished our red oak kitchen floor, which had not been refinished since it was first installed by another contractor 15 years ago. At the time of this floor's initial installation, the installer had convinced us to use a water-based polyurethane finish. We found out - the hard way - that this finish was less durable than the oil-based finish we had in our living room and dining rooms. Lou uses oil-based products and our kitchen floors now look so much better than when initially installed and finished! Both Lou and his son Steve were extremely professional, polite, neat (virtually no dust!), and detail-oriented. Both before and during the project, Lou conscientiously and promptly phoned or returned our phone calls to address and answer all of our project-related questions.
